A week at a time

Ahhh stopped my heart.

Briar just fell down the stairs.  He’s fine, a bit rattled, and a couple little bruises, but he’s okay.

We were coming down and he grabbed the rail and started before I could get his other hand.  He cried for about a minute and then started wandering around.  So we came in to watch a music video….mostly to calm papa down…

Battlestation is half way set up…  Servers are going in shortly, I hope.  This is the first time since I got the surround speakers when I was 16 that I’ve actually set them up in a surround method..  It’s pretty awesome!  Oh, and the sub is turned up.  Ahhhhhhh.

Ah… It’s 230 am. Quick look back at my day:
Up at 8, started hauling stuff over at a bit after 9. 11, my mom showed up, brought her and Briar over to the house with some of his toys and things.

Got back to the apartment about noon and the fil was there with his truck.

Made the last trip at about 6 or 7. Went to menards and bought a washer and dryer. Got back and hooked them up, finished that about 930.

Unpacking, entertaining the baby took up an hour or so. Then I went back to the apartment because some stuff was missing… Found it. Got back to the house at almost midnight, Briar was asleep.

Ugh. I’m tired.

Thursday we’re moving into the house.  It’s crazy how quickly the last month has gone by.  We started the count down at about 25 days…it’s now saying 2.

I’ll do a long post later after we’re settled a bit.  Shampooed the carpets yesterday, it looks fantastic.

I just took a second to look up John Hurt, do you know what I found?

Is what she said right after I pressed play. 

Then at the end of the episode, she got up and was like “See?  I told you that I wouldn’t leave!”

Oh, so anyhow.  Bathroom’s almost done.  Just need to tidy up the shower surround and caulk it.  Not too happy with how it went in, but I can fix it.  I can’t fix the chips in the bath tub’s finish, that pissed me off.

Ce refinished the vanity, just waiting for the sealant to dry out.  Brand new sink in there, will be going in soon.  New flooring. 

Moving in next Thursday! Ahhhhhh….
